In this article I’d like to go over a few common inventory designs and praise, critique or, well, just rant about them. There’s lots of good eggs out there, but also plenty bad ones. I mean, consider for a moment all the « made-for-joysticks » inventories you’ve come across on a PC game that could have benefitted from a redesign. Even something as simple as a weapon / spell wheel could be regarded as a type of inventory, while simultaneously being a bad inventory system for mouse + keyboard. First, let’s take a quick look at some of the common characteristics of inventories.

Making time to hear the feedback of your community is invaluable, and your members will appreciate the effort. Ensuring you set expectations for the call, so your member knows how their feedback will be used, is important.
In addition to economic benefits, supporting local businesses enhances community relationships. These businesses often serve as gathering places, fostering social connections among residents. From farmers’ markets to local cafes, these venues encourage community interaction and engagement. When residents know the owners of local shops, they are more likely to feel a sense of belonging and investment in their community’s future.
Use the SPACES model to determine which business goal your community is going to achieve. For example, is your community going to drive Acquisition and Sales? Is your community going to drive Customer Success initiatives for current users?
We are involved with the things we care about the most. That’s natural. My experience tells me, however, that the most interesting and possibly most important discoveries happen in the spaces between interests and disciplines and ideologies. Step outside your natural zone and your comfort zone… it’s necessary for uncovering new solutions.
Realized Value: Did the use of a new tool result in increased performance for a member? Did they improve an aspect of their work or organization as a result of learning in the community? Did they get a promotion, raise, new responsibility, etc. as a result from reading your resources?

From our review: With substantial changes to how it looks and plays, PGA Tour 2K25 feels like a different game from its predecessor. The new swing mechanics, paired with the significantly improved graphics, makes for a much more realistic ambiance, even with a lethargic performance by the announcing team. The highly customizable MyCareer campaign mode shines as one of the most enjoyable parts even though it has a tacked-on personality system, occasional unnecessary connectivity issues, and of course microtransactions.
